2025 Annual Conference — Know Before You Go

Cashless Venue

The Embassy Suites and the Annual Conference (including all Marketplace vendors) is a cashless venue. You must bring a debit or credit card to the conference in order to complete any on-site transactions.

Thursday Night Reception

For those attending, the Thursday night reception will have a cash bar; but keep in mind this is a "cashless" venue! Please bring your debit or credit card to complete purchases.

Additionally, this is the perfect time to wear your t-shirt! National AAHGS, Chapter AAHGS, Family Reunions, Class Reunions, HBCU, or any other favorite t-shirt is the thing to wear!

Marketplace Vendors

We will have local vendors at the conference to sell their goods! Items ranging from handcrafted soaps to handmade jewelry to Gullah pantry items will be available.

Souvenir 2025 Conference Journal

A digital copy of the 2025 Conference Journal is available in Whova Documents, but you may also purchase a physical copy for $35 on Amazon. You will find a welcome letter, the agenda, speaker syllabi, lists for the National Awards and AAHGS Book Awards, and information for all those who made the conference possible.
