The Slave, Freedman, and the Enslaver: Researching Monday Robinson
Char McCargo Bah will discuss the life of Monday Robinson, who was a slave, a freedman, and an enslaver. This research began with a descendant in the 21st century and traced back to the late 17th century across fourteen Virginia counties and several States. This presentation will give you a glimpse into the primary source documents that connect Monday Robinson to his descendant.
