Freedom Schools & Beyond: A Social Justice Imperative for Our Time (webinar)

About this event

Join the Association for the Study of African-American Life and History (ASALH) and Dr. Lisa Brock, scholar professor, on January 20th at 12pm EST for "Freedom Schools & Beyond: A Social Justice Imperative for Our Time” for an alternative vision of our future. This program will uplift and honor the ideals of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and others as a call to action today. This virtual webinar (Zoom links to be provided prior to event) will explore the transformative application of ASALH’s Social Justice Toolkit in classrooms, communities, and ASALH’s upcoming Freedom Schools initiative.

Whether you are an educator, community organizer, or advocate for social change, this event offers valuable perspectives, actionable strategies, and a meaningful way to reaffirm your commitment to justice and liberation.

RSVP on Eventbrite here.
