Description:

To provide communications, facilitation, help-desk, or technology support during the conference. Communications: Send notification messages to the conference attendees during the conference. Under the leadership of the Communication Team. Facilitation: Work with the session speakers to facilitate questions submitted in the virtual chat. Under the leadership of the Program Team. Help-desk: Respond to email or chat messages from attendees having difficulty entering or accessing the conference sessions. Under the leadership of the Conference and Technology Teams. Technology: Partner with other technology resources to review and correct any technology issues. Under the leadership of the Technology Team.

Dates:

Training: October 6 th and October 8 th , 2021
Conference: October 13 th – October 16 th , 2021

Skills needed:

Excellent spelling and grammar; Timeliness; Customer focus; Responsiveness; Persistence; Social media technology usage, including Chat, Zoom, Instant Messaging, and Facebook.

Stipend:

$200. Must work 2 days for a total of 16 hours during the conference to receive the stipend. Stipend will be paid via PayPal or electronic payment method by October 30 th , 2021.

Timeline:

Applications will be open September 17th – September 29 th , 2021 and candidates will be selected by October 3 rd .

Positions are limited and available to actively enrolled HBCU students only. If limit is reached, candidates may be placed on the waitlist. A letter of confirmation of Internship will be provided. Once assignment and conference are complete, a letter of completion will be provided along with stipend earned.
